Acuvet PDX was established in order to provide veterinary acupuncture house calls for pets whose physical or mental/emotional conditions prevent them from being seen at a veterinary clinic for acupuncture services. The business was also founded for those clients whose busy schedules make it difficult for them to take their pets to a vet clinic for annual wellness exams or state-required three-year Rabies vaccines. In addition, fragile pets such as cats suffering from renal disease can benefit from Acuvet PDX’s modest pricing for subcutaneous fluid administration and other supportive care at home. Also, Acuvet PDX’s competitive fees for new puppy and kitten exams, vaccinations, and microchips promote a positive patient-veterinarian interaction beginning at an early age. Finally, Acuvet PDX provides Standard Process supplements as well as conventional medications for patients requiring care in addition to or as an alternative to acupuncture.
